2009 ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM of the AVS NEW ENGLAND CHAPTER

    The Symposium will include Technical Sessions, poster session, and the Manufacturers' Exhibit.     
The Exhibits will be open from 11 AM to 7 PM on Monday. The exhibit hours are designed to encourage and facilitate greater interaction between vendors and attendees.
 Registration is free for all attendees for all events.
Meals and Drawing: As is customary with the Symposium Exhibition, THE DINNER BUFFET will be held between 5 and 7 PM on Monday.   We will also provide a luncheon Monday. 

Call for Papers

 

The conference organizers are soliciting abstracts for talks and posters for presentation at the June 8, 2009 meeting. Any presentation related to vacuum technology will be considered, but the following areas are of specific interest:

·             Mass spectrometry and electron spectroscopy

·             Heterogeneous catalysis

·             Characterization of nanoscale materials

·             Electronic materials – both inorganic and organic

·             Surface science of metal oxides

·             Polymer interfaces

·             Carbon-based materials

·             Vacuum Technology

The organizers of the conference welcome participation by industry, academia and national laboratories. Registration for the conference is free.
