Sid
Sood is
currently Varian’s Application Engineer for all products. His previous technical
experiences included Intel and
KLA-Tencor in California. He earned a MSEE from San Jose State University in CA.
Abstract: With
the increased interest in greening technologies, the vacuum needs for mass
spectrometry applications will be discussed.
A number of measures will be discussed that optimize the resource efficiency of
the vacuum environment including the energy use, and the correct vacuum pump
application using either rough or turbo pumping
capabilities.
