The ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM of the AVS New England Chapter will be held Monday June 7th at the Burlington Marriott Hotel.  A Manufacturers' Exhibit will be held in conjunction with the Symposium.  The Exhibits will be open from 11 AM to 7 PM on Monday. The exhibit hours are designed to encourage and facilitate greater interaction between vendors and attendees.

Meals and Drawings:As is customary with the Symposium Exhibition, the ever popular cocktail buffet will be held between 5 and 7 PM on Monday.  We will also provide a luncheon Monday.  In addition, the AVS will hold a drawing on Monday evening in the Exhibitor Hall, during which time we will be giving away the following prizes:

  • Wireless Router from Kurt J. Lesker Company
  • 2 free tickets to the Nascar Sylvania 300 CUP series on September 19, 2010
  • Assorted high technology lighting items from Osram Sylvania
  • One free weekend for 2 at the Burlington Marriott





.  All registered symposium attendees will be eligible to register for the drawing. We also encourage Exhibitors to have prize drawings as well. These would also be drawn in the exhibit hall in conjunction with the AVS prize drawing.

 

Technical Sessions: Technical sessions will be held all day Monday and the schedule will be posted on our website prior to the conference.

 

 

Format and Rules:  The exhibits are limited to a 6-foot table top, for which we provide a tablecloth.  Everything must fit on the table.  Power will be provided in the form of a single 110 VAC outlet; if you need additional outlets, bring your own power strip.  Hanging over onto your neighbors’ tables or in the aisle is not allowed. No one is to use the walls of the exhibit hall as a part of the backdrop or support for the exhibit.  Your exhibit must be self supporting.  We strongly recommend bringing your own table top backdrop.In our current arrangement, we will have room for 60 tables.  The tables will again be assigned based on the date your check is received.  We will also be aware of potential conflicts, and will attempt to adjust the assignments accordingly.

Send check along with enough information to make sure it is credited to your booth. When we receive payment, we will send a confirmation/receipt letter including the hotel and shipping information required. All booth payments must be received prior to booth set up!

Product Demonstrations:  We invite you to join us and showcase your company's products at this annual event.  The AVS New England will be hosting a demonstration table located in the front of the Exhibitors Hall.  We are inviting Exhibitors to provide hands on, interactive demonstrations.  If you have an equipment demonstration or tutorial you wish to showcase, please contact Jim Carter to reserve a time slot.  Demonstrations should be 30 minutes or less, and advanced registration is required.
